FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Medical)

- Service medical instrumentation for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd. Current Field Service experience is also required. Experience servicing Medical Devices is preferred. You will be installing & servicing automated robotic medical instrumentation in the greater New York City area. Base salary 65K – 80K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K – 8K annually, possibly more.).
*** You must currently reside in the greater New York City area, preferably in the
Bronx, Brooklyn, NYC, or Queens areas (No Long Island)…..NO RELOCATION
Qualifications:
- A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is a preferred.
- Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Some overnight travel may be required
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
- This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:
- Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
- Establish a good customer relations foundation.
- Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
- Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
- Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.
